  • 1 cup dry pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 onion chopped
  • 2 precooked Italian sausages
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • fresh/dried basil
  • grated parmesan cheese

  • Cook pasta according to box directions.
  • Place saucepan on burner, at medium-high heat. Slice onions and sausages. Add oil, then sausage and onions to saucepan, once it's been heated. Cook until sausage is browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Once sausage is browned, add jar of diced tomatoes, seasoning to saucepan. Simmer for at least 5 minutes. Divide pasta into two bowls, divide sausages and sauce between the two bowls as well. Top with basil and freshly grated parmesan cheese. Enjoy.

  • You can use Italian seasoned diced tomatoes, but adjust other spices.
  • Use your favorite sausage.
  • You can freeze remaining sausages.
